This costume accessory includes an officially licensed Red or Blue Pikmin character headpiece (each sold separately). Pikmin is the fun Nintendo game with these little half plant, half animal creatures that live all around us and will help you and your space crew with your mission! This Pikmin headpiece is a soft padded character headpiece with embroidered eyes and a tall stalk topped with a green leaf. The headpiece fastens with a hook and loop closure at the chin and fits most everyone ages 8 and up. The Red Pikmin (Pikminidae rubrus) are a type of Pikmin in the Pikmin series. They are the only Pikmin that can withstand fire in the series (besides Bulbmin that appears in Pikmin 2.); they are also known to be slightly more powerful than Yellow, Blue, and White Pikmin. Each Pikmin color has a special trait; in the case of Red Pikmin, their trait is a long nose. The Red Pikmin's special ability is fire. Blue Pikmin are a species of Pikmin from the series of the same name. These creatures are the only type of Pikmin that are able to swim, and if another color of Pikmin starts to drown, the Blue Pikmin will act as a life-guard and save him (note: this was a technique given to them only after the first entry in the series). Each Pikmin color has a special trait; in the case of the Blue Pikmin, their trait is having a mouth, and supposedly gills. Blue Pikmin are also invincible to any creature that attacks using water.
